White River is located approximately 350 km east of Johannesburg. It’s an easy drive, with highway almost the whole way. Alternatively there is shuttle service from the OR Tambo International Airport to Nelspruit daily, Nelspruit is located 20km from the lodge. It’s also possible to fly to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) which is located a short 15 min drive form Seringa lodge. Directions from Hazyview Take the R40 south towards White River. Just before White River the road passes a shopping centre called “Caster Bridge Farm”. Continue straight and at the third traffic light turn left. Travel +/- 3 km, the road will go down a dip and over a small bridge, turn next right into Yaverland. Yaverland will do a right turn (straight is a dirt road) and Seringa Lodge is +/- 400m down the road on the right hand side, no. 33 Yaverland Road. Directions from Johannesburg Depart Airport following the signs to Boksburg. After a few kilometers, take the N12 towards Witbank/Middelberg (Now also called Emalahleni). The N12 eventually merges with the N4. Stay on the N4 towards Middelberg and continue through Machadodorp. Just after the Machododorp Toll Plaza, the road to Nelspruit splits. Take the road to Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof. Just before Nelspruit, the road splits to Maputo or Nelspruit centre. Take the road to Maputo and take the first off ramp to White River. At the T Junction, turn right. Go straight through the traffic circles and continue until you see the Mercedes Agency on your left. Turn left onto the R40 towards White River and Hazyview. You will pass through an industrial park called Rocky drift and shortly after that, turn right towards the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Continue until you reach a 3 way stop where you turn left. Then take the first road right (Yaverland Road) After 3.5 km you will see Seringa lodge on the left.
