Seringa
Lodge, a 4 star lodge in Mpumalanga, is the perfect place to rest
for both business travellers and tourists exploring the Lowveld.
The lodge is situated on the outskirts of White River, South Africa
and is the ideal home base for exploring the many great attractions
of the area, including the Kruger National Park.
The beautiful old colonial style thatched farmhouse
is set in nine hectares of peaceful garden with a magnificent
view of the famous Legogote Mountain - “The Lion Head”.
Owners Cecilia and Roger Briggs have, with their
combined knowledge, and experience created a stylish and homely
guest house. Seringa is tastefully decorated with colourful African
influences. The lodge includes a lounge, with teak floors and
high ceiling, complimented with a huge fireplace, a separate TV
lounge with satellite television and honesty bar. A large covered
outside sitting area and a tree shaded deck look out over the
swimming pool giving you plenty of space to relax after a day
of exploration.
Weather
South Africa covers a large area and the weather
varies between regions which experience very little autumn and
spring.
The weather is generally sunny and the average hours of sunlight
per day are amongst the highest in the world. The country can
be visited year round.
Mpumalanga generally has summer (Nov - Feb) rainfall, mainly in
form of afternoon and night thunder showers. Conditions are mild
to hot subtropical. In winter (Jun - Aug) there is practically
no rain.
